69TH STREET TRANSFER BRIDGE, HUDSON RIVER

The New York Central Railroad 69th Street Transfer Bridge under the West Side Highway was used in the early 1900s to transfer railroad cars to "car floats" that ferried the cars across the Hudson to New Jersey and back. It was designated a Historic Place in 2003 by the U.S. Department of the Interior. Available in black and white. (150)
